National Scientific Committee on Vernacular Architecture of ICOMOS India initiates  
 
A grand web-based series of talks on "RETHINKING VERNACULAR ARCHITECTURE: DOCUMENTATION & LESSONS" the discussion sessions are covering the different regions of the country and thematic discussions on Vernacular Architecture. 
The Strongest point of Vernacular Architecture is the harmony between the environment and buildings. Through this Webinar Series shall revisit the past in order to understand sustainable features of Vernacular Architecture. The Idea is to expand our understanding of Vernacular built form through different regions in national and international contexts.
