ICOMOS INDIA

ICOMOS India is a membership based organization that provides a forum where individuals and representatives of institutions concerned with the conservation, protection, rehabilitation and enhancement of cultural heritage sites and places can meet to exchange information and views on principles and practices in the field.

Membership is drawn from across the country, divided into six zones to ensure adequate regional representation. Regional members are represented on the Executive Committee by a Regional Representative.

Celebrating the 75th Year of Independence

With the Republic of India turning 75 years, the EPWG ICOMOS India has prepared a Masterplan to develop a range of activities within the narrative of Heritage in India @ 75 years

All Zones, NSCs, WGs, and Institutional Members are invited to plan activities for the next two years as part of this triennium (2022–2023), which will contribute to the implementation of the Masterplan.
