We cordially invite you to be part of the webinar on ‘ Resilience to Disaster, Pandemic, Climate Change in Historic Areas and Precincts’ – the concluding one of the interesting and important webinar series being hosted by East Zone, ICOMOS India, and National Scientific Committee of Historic Towns and Villages with support from Emerging Professionals Working Group, on Saturday, 5th December 2020, 5 pm - 7 -30 pm. 

This webinar aims to focus on strategies for building resilience to disaster, pandemic and climate change in historic precincts and areas. Deliberations will also be on how culture and heritage – the local wisdom,   traditional knowledge and practices can be mobilised in disaster risk reduction and how to ensure local implementation of actions to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in historic precincts and areas.

This is the fourth series of webinars on ‘Resilient and Sustainable Development of Historic Precincts and Areas’, with a focus on West Bengal.  More details are available in the attached brochures.
