Isko Rock Shelter, Hazaribagh District, Jharkhand Isko is one of the well known prehistoric rock art sites of Jharkhand. This site is situated in Barkagaon block of Hazaribagh District, Jharkhand. This is not just an important prehistoric site of eastern India but it has a unique position in symbolism and cultural landscape. This site is associated with Munda and Birhor belief folklores and cultural continuation in the form of non-geometric symbolism. This site has yielded end flake microliths. But unfortunately, this site is under venerable condition due to chemical weathering and negligence of government bodies.
