About the Speaker:
Wendy Rose is a wall painting conservator with extensive experience in photogrammetric documentation. She holds an M.A. in Conservation of Wall Paintings from the Courtauld Institute of Art, London, where she developed a 3D digital monitoring technique for in situ wall paintings.
She has worked as a freelance photogrammetry consultant for the National Park Service, community organizations, and the Lunder Conservation Center, offering guidance on photogrammetry applications in cultural heritage conservation. Currently, she serves as a practicing wall painting conservator and consults with both the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the Getty Conservation Institute on digital documentation and interpretation projects.
