he ICOMOS India National Scientific Committee on Mural Paintings is pleased to invite you to an online lecture titled "Applications of Photogrammetry in Wall Paintings Conservation" by Wendy Rose on June 18, 2025, at 7:00 PM IST. In this session, Wendy Rose, a specialist in wall painting conservation and digital documentation, will explore the varied applications of photogrammetry in wall painting conservation. The lecture will cover its role in documentation, condition monitoring, and treatment planning. Wendy Rose will share practical case studies and offer insights on optimizing data capture and processing to align with specific conservation objectives. She holds an M.A. in Conservation of Wall Paintings from the Courtauld Institute of Art, London, where she developed a 3D digital monitoring technique for in situ wall paintings. She has worked as a freelance photogrammetry consultant for the National Park Service, community organizations, and the Lunder Conservation Center, offering guidance on photogrammetry applications in cultural heritage conservation. Currently, she serves as a practicing wall painting conservator and consults with both the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the Getty Conservation Institute on digital documentation and interpretation projects.
