Our team at the Smithsonian Cultural Rescue Initiative (SCRI) and Cultural Emergency Response (CER) are again delighted to announce the sixth edition of the Leadership course for Cultural Heritage Stewards in Challenging Circumstances. The course will take place from 22 to 27 September 2024 in The Hague (Netherlands).
This course is meant to benefit those in the CER and SCRI networks who work in areas where culture is under threat. The course, through virtual pre-work and in-person training, will demonstrate tools and techniques that support the development of leadership, communication, and project management skills. The course will provide an opportunity to learn about personal leadership strengths and ways to leverage those strengths to mobilize resources to conduct heritage preservation projects.
